Launching Older Adolescents into Adulthood

Empowering the younger generations

Are you worried that your live-at-home adult children would ever achieve independence? In today's culture, adolescence is getting longer than it used to be and launching adult children is not simple. Releasing children too early or too much parental control can sometimes be counter-intuitive. Many young people are not emotionally, mentally, or financially mature until mid or late twenties. Other issues like anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identify, co-dependency, inadequate social and occupational skills or boundaries can complicate the emerging process. Parenting nowadays requires a new dimension to look for ways to launch your young adults more successfully.
